Việt Nam có ca tử vong thứ 39 vì Covid-19

Chiều 20/5, Bộ Y tế cho biết ca tử vong này là bệnh nhân nam, 81 tuổi có nhiều bệnh lý nền như xơ gan, đái tháo đường, tăng huyết áp, gút.
Theo Tiểu ban Điều trị, Ban chỉ đạo Quốc gia phòng, chống dịch Covid-19, đây là BN3554, 81 tuổi, nam, có tiền sử đau khớp gối nhiều năm, xơ gan, đái tháo đường, tăng huyết áp, gút.Ngày 3/5, bệnh nhân nhập Bệnh viện Bệnh Nhiệt đới Trung ương với chẩn đoán nhiễm khuẩn huyết trên bệnh nhân xơ gan, gút. Ngày 11/5, bệnh nhân có kết quả xét nghiệm dương tính với SARS-CoV-2.

Bệnh nhân được điều trị hồi sức tích cực, thở máy, lọc máu liên tục, kháng sinh, chống viêm, chống đông, duy trì vận mạch. Đồng thời, được các giáo sư đầu ngành Hội chẩn quốc gia ngày 18/5.

Tuy nhiên bệnh tình không giảm, ngày 19/5 bệnh nhân có diễn biến nặng. Mặc dù đã được bệnh viện cấp cứu hồi sức tích cực nhưng bệnh nhân tử vong tối cùng ngày.

Nguyên nhân tử vong là do sốc nhiễm khuẩn, nhiễm khuẩn huyết trên nền bệnh xơ gan, đái tháo đường, tăng huyết áp, nhiễm SARS-COV-2.

Đây là ca tử vong thứ 39 tại nước ta có liên quan tới Covid-19.

According to the Treatment Sub-Committee, National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, this is patient 3554, 81 years old, male, with a history of many years of knee pain, cirrhosis, diabetes, hypertension, gout. On May 3, the patient was admitted to the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases with a diagnosis of sepsis in a patient with cirrhosis and gout. On May 11, the patient tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.

The patient was treated with intensive care, mechanical ventilation, continuous dialysis, antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, anticoagulant, and vasomotor maintenance. At the same time, the national consultation was held by leading professors on May 18.

However, the patient's condition did not decrease, on May 19, the patient had a serious development. Despite being actively resuscitated by the hospital, the patient died the same evening.

The cause of death was septic shock, sepsis on the background of cirrhosis, diabetes, hypertension, SARS-COV-2 infection.

This is the 39th death in our country related to Covid-19.
