More than 16,000 American people have already been died by flu virus, but people don't even care or pay attention to it. There's just a really small number of people being died by COVID-19, but people are scared to death like the end of the world!!!
Hey bro,

Here are the reasons:

1. It's a new novel virus (in other words, it's still UNKNOWN to doctors, physicians - that is why it's scary and deadlier)

2. Vaccines and preventions have not been developed and manufactured.

3. No medicines (like Tamiflu for common flu) that can combat the illness episodes that coronaviruses bring.

4. No procedures, guidelines and required training for staff, nurses and doctors to follow for the treatments.

5. It spreads faster than influenza and common flu (this has not been confirmed by experts yet).

(hope that answers your question)
