Slovakia đã chuyển giao S-300 cho Ukraine.

S-300 là một loạt các hệ thống Tên lửa đất đối không tầm xa Nga do Tổng công ty khoa học công nghiệp Almaz sản xuất dựa trên phiên bản S-300P đầu tiên. Hệ thống S-300 đã được phát triển để tăng cường khả năng chống lại máy bay và tên lửa hành trình cho Lực lượng Phòng không Xô viết. Các biến thể sau đó được phát triển để đánh chặn cả tên lửa đạn đạo chiến thuật.

Hệ thống S-300 được Liên Xô triển khai lần đầu vào năm 1979 nhằm phòng thủ không trung cho các cơ sở công nghiệp và hành chính lớn, các căn cứ quân sự và kiểm soát không phận chống lại máy bay tấn công của đối phương.

Nhà phát triển quản lý dự án của S-300 là công ty Nga Almaz (thuộc sở hữu của chính phủ, viết tắt "KB-1") mà hiện nay đang là một phần của Doanh nghiệp Phòng không "Almaz-Antei". S-300 sử dụng tên lửa do phòng thiết kế MKB "Fakel" (một công ty riêng của chính phủ, viết tắt "OKB-2") phát triển. Thời gian triển khai S-300 là 5 phút.

Cộng hòa Tyva (Tuva) hay Đường Nỗ Ô Lương Hải (唐努烏梁海 - tên gọi vào thời nhà Thanh)), là một chủ thể liên bang của Nga (một nước cộng hòa). Nước cộng hòa này về mặt địa lý nằm tại khu vực trung tâm của châu Á, thuộc miền nam Siberi. Tuva có biên giới với Cộng hòa Altai, Khakassia, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, và Buryatia thuộc Nga và Mông Cổ ở phía nam. Một phần lớn diện tích của Tuva là các dãy núi, rừng cây và thảo nguyên.
